Add a vibrant splash of color to your home with a custom fused glass pocket vase—perfect for displaying a bright spray of flowers or a simple sprig from your favorite plant. In this hands-on class, students will design and create their own unique pocket vase by fusing two hand-cut pieces of glass together. A special fiber paper technique is used to form a watertight “pocket” between the layers, resulting in a functional and eye-catching piece of art.

Whether you prefer a simple, elegant single-color design or a richly textured, layered composition, this class offers endless creative possibilities. From bold color combinations to subtle, nature-inspired patterns, the sky is truly the limit. Guided step-by-step by instructor Janis Peery, students will learn essential fused glass techniques including glass cutting, color layering, and design composition. No prior experience is necessary, just bring your creativity and curiosity.

Please come a 1/2-hour early if you haven't cut glass before and I will give you a quick lesson.
