Slow Stitch Fabric Collage emphasizes process over perfection. Join us for a meditative, creative experience exploring color, texture, and mindful making. Choose from a variety of thoughtfully curated fabric kits and let your creativity unfold. Through playful fabric collage and simple embroidery stitches, the slow stitching process encourages calm, relaxation, and creative expression.

All supplies are provided and all skill levels are encouraged.

Please note that there is a required supply fee, as well as an optional project kit add-on. The add-on includes a pouch kit with fabric, batting, a button, and ribbon to create a small pouch project, but it is not required.

About the instructors:

Darlene Berry and Esther Wakefield are longtime friends and creative partners who experience leisure and wellness through the arts.

We began decades ago in the kitchen as “Wakeberry Preserves” and moved into the driveway as ‘Berryfield” paper making. Currently, we are part of a wonderful creative community facilitating process-focused art. We have experience with fiber/textiles, ink, paint, paper, clay, and other mediums. We also enjoy our studios and guild communities.  

We are delighted to bring process-focused art experiences to the High Country!
