Fun with Fiber Arts - Finishing and Creating a Final Piece
Wednesday, August 12, 10:30am — 12pm
Workshop with teaching artist Sarah Rydecki
Age 9 — 16
Explore some ways to make art with felt and other fibers. Students will learn while playing with the processes of wet-felting, needle felting, and slow stitching. Students may sign up for the full series or individual classes.
August 12 is Finishing and Creating a Final Piece: Slow stitching is an approach to textile art that allows for creative expression through hand-stitching. Participants will learn basic stitches and apply what they learn to their own personal creations.
Maximum students: 12, pre-registration will secure your students spot.
Supplies will be included.
This class is free. Pre-registration is recommended, because space is limited. This is a drop-off class (students are dropped off at the beginning of class and picked up by their adult at the end of class). Please see our Family Center Studio's this summer for classes you can attend with your student. Please let us know if your student needs any accommodation.
