Mounted, NOW WHAT?!

DESCRIPTION
This one-day class focuses on the practical application of your handgun, whether you are using optics or irons. Whether you are new or "I have been shooting all my life" shooter, and more.
As BJJ practitioner you are probably aware of that fundamentals and foundation is where it is at. Black belts dont know more then you, They just know how to apply basic techniques at the advanced level and this is your first PROPER introduction.
Topics that will be covered are but not limited too:
- Safe ownership, handling, carry and storage of firearms
- 4 Firearm safety rules
- Presentation
- Proper handgun manipulation which includes two-handed, one-handed
- Speed reloading
- Target acquisition and selection
- And much more are taught with an overall emphasis on safety, accuracy, and responsibility
- Estimated ammo count: 500 rounds (but bring more).
What to bring:
Unless you selected for me to provide loaner equipment (during check out process).
- Your handgun (obvious :) )
- A good quality holster. You need a safe, quality holster and belt. Again, if you have any questions, please contact us
- A magazine pouch/holder for at least 2 of your spare magazines
- A sturdy belt, to support the above
- Hearing and Eye protection (If you do not have it I have loaners available, so contact to make arrangements)
- Note-taking materials
What to wear:
- A shirt with a snug collar
- A baseball cap or visor (to protect the gap between glasses and your eyes)
- Closed-toe shoes (no sandals)
More info:
Range has portable toilets, and no running water. For your comfort, you might want to bring wipes, disposable washcloths and/or hand sanitizer.
Please bring your own lunches, snacks, beverages, etc. We have a “working lunch” in all classes. Range does not have a place close enough to purchase meals and get back in a reasonable amount of time. Bring water, it never hurts to bring some more. Bring foldable chair for you to seat in
After successfully completing the course, we’ll issue a Certificate of Training
