Portrait Drawing Workshop - with focus on Charcoal

Saturday, 27 June. 10- 4pm (Model needed from 1-4pm)
10-11 am - Introductions, overview of process and materials
11-12:15 pm - Basic shape of head and proportions
12:15 – 1pm - Lunch break
1 – 4 pm - Drawing front, side and ¾ view of head
Sunday, 28 June. 10-4pm (model needed 1-3pm)
10-11am - Features of the face. Eyes, nose, lips and hair
11 – 12:15pm - Start long pose
12:15pm -1pm- Lunch break
1 – 1:30pm - Shading patterns
1:30 – 3pm - Work on long pose
3 -4pm - Finishing techniques and ideas
