Students will take daily nature walks or do indoor nature explorations (when bad weather) to learn more about the world around them. They will learn how to keep an interactive nature journal to document experiences.

It will be helpful for the student to be able to write, but not required as the interactive journal can also be done with pictures and labels. Scissor skills are also helpful for pockets and such inside the journal.
