Students will learn and discuss a broad range of what it takes to be a Texas rancher. Topics of discussion and demonstrations will range from the following: • Predator control/trapping • Plant/tree identification • Cost/expenses/income for different livestock • Gardening • Pasture/range management • Ranch/farm setup • Different livestock setups from market to breeder operations • etc….

Students should show an interest in farming/ranching.
