Creative Aging: Patterns & Potholders
This class is part of our Creative Aging program and is open to ages 55 and older!
Join us for a relaxed, hands-on weaving series focused on creating 10"x10" potholders while exploring a variety of patterns and techniques.
Over three sessions, you’ll learn how to weave on a loom and experiment with different pattern possibilities, creating up to three unique potholders. Each piece can look completely different, giving you the chance to try new approaches and build your skills as you go.
This is a flexible, low-pressure class—come to all three sessions or drop in as you’re able. It’s a great opportunity to learn something new, spend time creating together, and enjoy a welcoming, comfortable environment.
This class is FREE thanks to the support of Friends of the Arts, Inc.
We value inclusion and access for all participants. This class is wheelchair accessible and we are pleased to provide additional reasonable accommodations. Please contact Alexianna at alexi@traditionalartstoday.org to make a reasonable accommodation request. Requests must be submitted 2 weeks in advance of class.
