Duration: 3 hrs
Prerequisites: Intro to Woodworking
This class will help you design and create a piece of wood jewelry that can be used as either a pin or a pendant. We will utilize a special piece of jewelry hardware that allows both uses. Makerspace will provide a selection of woods, a variety of samples to give you some design ideas, and the hardware to create one pin/pendant piece. Students will sketch out the design they wish to make, and then cut out, assemble, and refine their finished pin or pendant. Tools will include the table saw, the band saw, a hand drill, super glue, and sandpaper.
There is a $15 fee for this class, payable upon enrollment. If you need to cancel your registration after paying, please contact education@rocmakers.org to arrange a refund. We cannot provide refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of class.
You must be a member of Rochester Makerspace to attend.
