In this hands-on workshop, students will explore a variety of techniques to bring depth, texture, and life to their design. You’ll learn how to work with multiple layers of glass to build dimension and perspective, creating the illusion of rolling waves and distant horizons. Using blended glass powders, you’ll achieve soft color transitions and atmospheric effects that mimic the natural flow of water and sky.

A highlight of the class is learning how to create a “river rock” effect using reactive glass frit—perfect for capturing the look of waves crashing against the shoreline with beautiful, organic texture and movement.
