Do you love to sing? Are you looking for a safe, inclusive space to join together with other women and non-binary treble singers (soprano/alto - C3-C6) to harmonize? Is the weekly commitment of a performing choir too much for you at this moment, but you still want to sing in community? Then this might be the space for you!

Director Gina Samardge is leading a singing circle for women and non-binary treble singers 16 and up to show up authentically, build community, sing in harmony, and heal together. The vibe will be just like a Beacon Rising Choir rehearsal, but with no weekly commitment and no culminating performance.

Each singing circle will begin with a body-breath-vocal warm-up, and then we'll learn a song from the BRC repertoire. We'll also take some time in the middle of the rehearsal to build community.

Here are the songs we will learn each month from August through November. In December, we will have a celebration, inviting each person to bring a snack to share, and we'll sing through all of the songs we have learned. You do not have to attend all singing circles to come to the December circle.

August 4: Crowded Table

September 1: We Shall Be Known 

October 6: Sisters of Winter

November 3: Umbrella

December 1: Sing through all of these!
