AMERICAN RED CROSS - WILDERNESS AND REMOTE FIRST AID COURSE (w/Adult CPR option)
To provide individuals a foundation of first aid principles and skills to be able to respond to emergencies and give care in areas that do not have immediate emergency medical services (EMS) response. This includes wilderness and remote environments including urban disasters such as earthquakes and hurricanes. *Participants must possess current Adult CPR certification (or the equivalent) and be at least 14 years of age on or before the last scheduled session of the course. Prerequisites will be verified by the instructor at the start of the course and are required for student participation in this course. *See below for Adult CPR course add-on.
Designed for scouts and scout leaders, outdoor enthusiasts and anyone who works or spends time in remote environments, this course teaches advanced skills to be used in emergencies when help from professional first responders may be far away. Based on the Boy Scouts of America Wilderness First Aid Curriculum and Doctrine Guidelines, this course aligns with OSHA’s Best Practices for Workplace First Aid Training Programs.

Additional Information:
- Prerequisites: Must be at least 14 years old and hold current Adult CPR certification*.
- *Note: CPR Certification (hands-on) must be current for a WFA Certification to be issued. Adult CPR is available at the class and can be signed up for at registration. If you have a current CPR or BLS Certification you must bring a copy to the class.

Certification:
Red Cross courses offer Digital Certification, an online version of a Red Cross certificate, which provides anytime, anywhere access to student training history and course certificates. Digital certificates can be viewed, printed or shared online and can be accessed anytime through your Red Cross Account. Each certificate includes a unique ID and a QR code which meets employment requirements and allows employers to easily confirm your certificate is valid. There is no need to carry your printed certificate around anymore!

REFUND POLICY - There will be no refund if a student cancels or no shows for a class. A full refund will be given if M.O.S. Training cancels a course.
