Review Classes Tib. 302
AIM OF THE REVIEW SESSIONS
The aim of these six weekly Review Sessions is to solidify and practice the content of the Upper Advanced Course (Tib. 302) in an organized and joyful way together with your old and new friends and classmates. The goal is to gain more clarity about the grammar topics and ease or fluency at understanding the vocabulary of Lessons 26-30 of our textbook བོད་སྐད་སྙིང་པོ། Volume 3. Another goal is also to continue building healthy study habits, such as regular vocabulary, reading, listening and རིགས་མཚུངས། practice, talking to yourself and your tutor in Tibetan, etc. which are important for your continuous learning.
REQUIREMENTS
Alumni, both general and auditing of the Upper Advanced Course Tib. 302 are qualified and invited to attend these classes as well as new students who have good knowledge about advanced Tibetan grammar topics and familiarity with Dharma vocabulary about basic topics, such as the qualities of the Three Jewels, the Buddhist view, bodhicitta, Buddhist meditation and the Four Immeasurables. It is important to come to each session prepared, having reviewed the respective Lesson so that not much time will be spent on explanation but the main focus will be on practice.
SLC
Whether or not you’d like to build new SLCs just for these six weeks is up to you and you’ll decide as a group on day one of the class. It is important to be open and welcoming if new students join these Review Sessions.
(NO) CLASS MATERIALS
These Review Sessions do not include any course materials or resources. Alumni of the Tib. 302 Course 2026 will still have access to all your previous materials and resources.
Newcomers to these Review Sessions are advised to purchase access to the BETA version webinars or the Full Study Package of Lessons 21-25 and/or the fully fledged materials of the Upper Advanced Course, Tib. 302. However, this is not a requirement, just advice.
Having the textbook བོད་སྐད་སྙིང་པོ།, Heart of Tibetan Language, Volume 3 is very much recommended. Its ebook is available here.
