You are warmly invited, just exactly as you are, to join us for two hours of authentic relating, where we will play The Noticing Game - Unserious Focus. The game is simple: be present, bring your attention and your curiosity. Share whatever is present and alive and real for you in the moment. If you don't feel like talking, then don't! Do what feels authentic for you and honor your authentic experience. This is a relational meditation and an emergent space. The vibe can be anything from silly and playful to profound and it is impossible to predict because it is created by the people who show up, and by how they participate. While there is typically no intention other than presence; in this edition, we will set an intention to notice glimmers, joy, celebration, unconditional positive regard, play, and possibility. "There is a great power in understanding that we can change way we interact with the circumstances in our lives, simply by being intentional about where we put our focus. ...The way you pay attention activates parts of your brain in very specific ways....This brain firing actually leads to structural changes in the brain itself...there is a real likelihood that with time and practice, a temporary, intentionally created mindful state will become a lasting mental trait." - Laura van Dernoot Lipsky, Trauma Stewardship
