Saint Nicholas Wyckoff Greek Dance

Dear Families:

Thank you for registering your child(ren) for the 2026/2027 Saint Nicholas Wyckoff Greek Dance Lessons. We are very excited to bring our youth together to learn and enjoy the traditions of our Greek heritage. Angelo Gergatsoulis is the dance instructor offering weekly lessons for our youth with a focus on teamwork and commitment.

Greek Dance practices will meet weekly, Wednesday evenings, starting September 9th* at Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Wyckoff, NJ in the Fellowship Hall.

*September 9 and 16th dance practices are for returning St. Nicholas dancers performing at the festival. Please note that dancers will be dancing in the group they were in last year (example: if you are moving up to GOYA this year, you will be dancing with the Junior dance group for the festival). 

Greek Festival Performers:

Returning Dancers: If your child will be performing during the St. Nicholas Wyckoff Greek Festival on September 18th and 19th, attendance leading up to the festival is highly encouraged.

Dancers' attire for Greek festival performance: Traditional costumes, otherwise, wear black or navy blue bottoms (pants for boys, skirts for girls). White shirts (no tank tops). Closed black shoes, no crocs, no flip flops, no sneakers. 

2026 - 2027 Greek dance schedule and details for both Juniors and GOYAns.

Weekly Schedule:

Juniors Grades K - 6th, ages 5 - 12 years old - Wednesday's 6:30 - 7:30pm

GOYAns Grades 7th - 12th, ages 12 - 18 years old - Wednesday's 7:30 - 9pm

• MDF practices will be Tuesdays (GOYAns only):
• 1st & last Tuesday of the month will be 7:30-9pm
• 2nd Tuesdays will be from 6:30-7:30pm (September through February)                       

Practices are scheduled for the following dates of 2026 / 2027:

2026

• • September 9*, 16*, 30 – *for returning dancers performing at the Greek festival 9/18-9/19
    • • October 7, 14, 21, 28
      • November 4, 11, 18
      • December 2, 9, 16, 23, 30

2027

• • January 6, 13, 20, 27
  • February 3, 10, 17, 24th
    • • • Sights and Sounds practice: Dress rehearsal 2/21 (mandatory)
      • Sights and Sounds Performance: Saturday, 2/27
        • Sights and Sounds Showcase: Sunday, 3/7
  • March 3, 10 (Great Lent begins on March 15th and concludes on April 23rd)
  • May 5, 12, 19

MDF Practices (Specific Tuesdays - 1st and 4th (7:30-9pm), 2nd (6:30-7:30pm):
- September: 29
- October: 6, 13, 27
- November: 3, 10, 17
- December: 1, 8, 22, 29 [Dec. 8th is 6:30-7:30pm – all other Dec. dates are 7:30-9pm]
- January: 5, 12, 26
- February: 2, 9

Registrations through Corsizio must be completed by Wednesday, September 30th and payments by Friday, October 30, 2026. Please be sure to provide a valid email address in your registration forms.

Pricing per dancer for the 2026 – 2027 year: Juniors $240 / GOYAns $300 / MDF Cost: $160 

Discounts available: If you are registering 3 or more children, you will have the option to pay a half-price discount per registration for the 3rd or additional child(ren). GOYAN $150 EA / Juniors $120 EA. Complete the registration for the 1st child, then, at the completion of that registration, there will be an option to register additional children. Payments will be done through the church website, Vanco (see details below).

Payment Details:

Credit card payments (preferred) will go through the church website (Vanco) via the Goya link tile Saint Nicholas Greek Dance Payments. For CC payments, please include in the Notes section: " Jr. Dance, name of student(s)” or “GOYAN, name of student(s)," and include family names (if different than registration details).

Total payment amount section and must reflect pricing based on your registration. 

Check payments: please make checks payable to “Saint Nicholas GOYA” and submit them in person to either the Junior or GOYA group co-directors during dance practice.
