Kingston Potters' Guild

Prerequisite: KPG Throwing I or II

• 9 week class with a drop-in format on Tuesday evenings
• Instructors will vary and offer guidance to projects you are working on, various surface decoration techniques and more
• Access to our studio outside of class time is included
• Glaze and firings are included
• Additional costs for clay and tools which can be purchased from the studio supply room

These classes are less structured than our throwing classes, allowing students to use the studio during the course and receive instruction from a variety of teachers over the 9 weeks. Students must have taken a prior Throwing I or Throwing II/Advanced Throwing class at the Guild. 

• In class, your teacher will demonstrate different techniques and you will practice with coaching
• You will have access to the Guild's studio outside of class time
• Glaze materials and a limited number of firings are included
• You can arrange with other Guild members (who are qualified to fire the kilns) to fire pieces you make over and above those made in class time at a small additional cost.

Note: Refunds will not be issued for cancellations requested after June 17 and all cancellations will be subject to a $10 administrative charge.
