Clinical Thai Massage Level 1: Integrating Hip MET and Side-Lying Shoulder Mobilization

A 3-day, 20-hour hands-on intensive for licensed massage therapists and serious bodyworkers ready to bring clinical precision to their Thai massage practice.

This workshop blends traditional Thai techniques with clinical bodywork principles — focusing on Muscle Energy Technique (MET) for the hips and side-lying shoulder mobilization. You'll leave with practical, treatment-ready skills you can integrate into your sessions immediately.

• Hip Muscle Energy Technique (MET) for improved mobility and release
• Side-lying shoulder mobilization using the Spencer technique
• How to integrate clinical assessment into a traditional Thai flow
• Proper sequencing, body mechanics, and pressure awareness

Why 3 days This training was expanded from two days to three based on student feedback. The slower pace gives you time to truly absorb, practice, and retain the material — this is about depth and confident integration, not rushing through technique.

Who this is for Licensed massage therapists, bodyworkers, and committed students of Thai massage who want to deepen their clinical skill set. Small group: minimum 2, maximum 6 students, for focused, individualized instruction.

Your instructor — Haekyong Visneski, LMT, MMT Haekyong is a Licensed Massage Therapist (WA, since 2015) and Master Myoskeletal Therapist with 6+ years of dedicated Thai massage practice. She trained at the Sunshine School in Chiang Mai, Thailand (13 weeks total) and studied privately with Thai masters Suriyan and Twia. Through Intense Lotus Massage & Healing, she teaches with a focus on traditional methodology integrated with modern clinical bodywork.
