1st Gear Motorbike Training

The Competency Based Training Assessment (CBTA) for your Restricted Motorcycle License.

This assessment will look at your safe riding skills. If you pass you will receive a certificate that you can use to apply for your restricted motorcycle licence at any Licensing Agent like AA or VTNZ. Training is optional but highly recommended.

The appointment is for 90 minutes to allow for fitting of communication equipment and administration. The assessment ride will take approximately 60 minutes. You must wear suitable protective clothing, an approved helmet, gloves and be in possession of your driver licence. The motorcycle used must be Legal and in a warrantable standard when inspected If your machine is not compliant or your clothing is not appropriate, the assessment will not be conducted in the interests of your own safety.

Please note that NO training is included in this package. Extra Training can be added on request to ensure you are confident in your skills to pass.!
