Come for all 4 hours for the 4 week period or drop in when you can between 8 AM & 12 PM.

Class includes all materials and a free Cotton T-Shirt to represent Upena Culture!

Class includes: 

• Art of Throwing an Upena. Each of you will give it a throw.
• We will talk about the concept of designing and starting a net in relation to a circle ⭕️. 
• Use props to practice tying different knots used in net making and repair. 
• Discuss tools used and names along with their functions.
• Learn about net size, eye size, and the mathematical formulations involved. 
• Learn the different parts of the upena.
• Learn to repair skirts and lead line.

Class if for 15 years and older. Minors (under 18) must have a parent or guardian enrolled in the class with them.

If you do not want to sign up for 4 weeks, you can come as a drop in on a first come, first service basis and pay $85 on the same day thru cash or Venmo.

Cancelation Policy:

To cancel a workshop registration and receive a refund, notify us at least 30 days before the start date of your workshop. If we are given the required 30 days notice we will refund your payment, minus a $50 cancellation fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 30 days of the start of the workshop.
