Summer Fun - Small Dishes Workshop
Get ready for some fun! Come join us in creating a functional piece of artwork that is made 100% by you - the artist! Come and meet some new friends or bring a few along. This is a great summertime activity with the keiki. You will learn the basic ceramic slab process and how a ball of clay becomes a beautiful and useful piece. We will show you the steps to creating it and once it dries, we will glaze and fire it for you so that you can pick it up next time you are in town or have it shipped to you for a little extra.
In this class you will make 2 Small Dishes that you can use for Rings, Shoyu, Change, a Spoon Rest, or anything your heart desires. You will shape, design, and decorate. All supplies are included.
Participants under 15 must be accompanied with a participating an adult.
