Discover India is a once-in-a-lifetime, thoughtfully guided journey into the spiritual heart of one of the world’s most vibrant and religiously diverse cultures. This session is for anyone considering the trip and wanting a clear sense of what the experience is like—what we’ll see, how the program works, and what to expect before you commit.

During the session, we’ll walk through the itinerary highlights, the learning approach that makes Encounter’s programs distinctive, and the practical details that help you plan with confidence. There will be time for questions.

What we’ll cover:

• The overall vision for Discover India 2027 and who this program is designed for
• Where we’ll go (five cities in North India): Delhi, Varanasi, Agra, Amritsar, and Dharamsala
• The six living religious traditions we’ll encounter: Hinduism, Islam, Sikhism, Buddhism, the Bahá’í Faith, and Jainism
• Learning and context: pre-trip learning sessions, local guides, sacred-site visits, and encounters with practitioners
• What it’s like on the ground: pace, mobility, comfort, and the “rhythm” of India
• Key logistics: accommodations, meals, transportation, and travel planning considerations

Registration and payment structure, including:

• Trip dates: arrive in Delhi March 17, 2027 / depart March 30, 2027
• Trip cost: $6,679 CAD per person (double occupancy) ($4,945 USD)
• Single supplement: $1,395 CAD (approx. $995 USD)
