ICS 200 Train the Trainer (through AEMA)
Course: Incident Command System 200 - Train the Trainer (ICS I-200)

Target Audience: Those wishing to become ICS 200 Instructors.
-Open to external municipalities, agencies, and organizations (with priority given to GPREP members).
Learning Outcomes: The course is interactive and provides an opportunity for course participants to deliver portions of material and facilitate a learning exercise. At the successful completion of this course participants will be able to demonstrate an understanding of how to deliver I-200 as a Unit Instructor in a classroom setting.
Prerequisites:
- Course: ICS 300 (3 days). Obtain before course date or provide approved certificate. GPREP is offering this course on Sept 15-17, 2026.
- Course: AEMA Instructor Standardization Training (IST) (2 days). Obtain before course or provide approved certificate. See below for AEMA training calendar link.
- Submit an AEMA Instructor Application to AEMA (GPREP will connect you) and await approval. This can be done if you are signed up for the IST course or have already taken it.
- Reside in Alberta or intend to teach local authority or ICS courses in Alberta.
