Join the Faculty Hub for an interactive workshop on inclusive syllabus design. In this session, we will consider four principles of inclusive design – transparency, academic belonging, structure, critical engagement with difference – and how we can use our course syllabus in support of these principles.
In particular, we will explore the MIT Inclusive+ Equitable Syllabus Rubric, using this rubric to self-assess and improve the draft of a syllabus for one of our courses. Please bring a draft syllabus to the session.
