Point of View: The Way Your Character Sees the World
Every character has a point of view. They have opinions, beliefs, biases, hopes, fears, and a unique way of making sense of what's happening around them. In this workshop, Karla Dingle helps actors and improvisers move beyond playing situations and start playing perspective.
Through exercises and scene work, you'll explore how your character's experiences, relationships, and emotional life shape their choices. Whether you're working from a script or creating a scene in the moment, a strong point of view leads to more specific choices, stronger connections, and performances that feel honest, grounded, and alive.
