Christian Walking Club

This event is designed to support my recent suggestion, at the AGM, of 18 possible new event venues in the UK based on several locations and the variety of agencies to book through. I am aware that some members may have a reticence to set up an event due to lack of knowledge or uncertainty about using Corsizio the aim is to dispel this confusion. CWC leaders have also recently encouraged leaders by offering discounts for leaders and a tremendous level of extra support.

We will be based at Stratford YHA but anyone wishing to stay off site is welcome to do so. I am planning two walks on Friday and Saturday these will flat and accessible for all; more details when you enquire. The cost includes a small amount for tea, coffee and biscuits. Members attending may be considering putting on new events during 2027. CWC is looking for new people to add events to encourage our many new members who often find events are full when they try to book on the website. Stratford is a lovely venue in itself the former home of William Shakespeare and we will will have an optional opportunity to see one of his plays at the RSC. The countryside around there is rich with diversity and we hope to explore the town itself during the visit.

We will have two informal chats about organising events in the late afternoon. This will include where to look, who to contact with regards to setting up an event on Corszio and how to imput an event yourself on a laptop or PC. (I will bring a laptop to facilitate this). We can have lots of chats too during the weekend.
