What they will learn: In this advanced course, students will focus on crafting and delivering a powerful original persuasive speech. They will learn how to research complex topics, structure a clear argument, and write in a compelling and organized way. Coaches will guide students through speechwriting, editing, and delivery, with emphasis on voice, poise, and rhetorical impact.

How it applies to the real world: Students build advanced public speaking and writing skills that apply to school presentations, leadership roles, and persuasive communication in any setting.

Deliverable: Students will write and present a 10-minute persuasive speech by the end of the semester, preparing them for competition or formal speaking engagements.

*Prerequisite: Students enrolling in this class must have taken at least 1 semester of Art of Public Speaking or completed advanced Little Orator classes.
