CELEBRATING MUSICAL MILESTONES
We're thrilled that you're interested in taking part in our annual student concert, IGNITE 2026!
This is your chance to shine on stage and share your musical journey with a supportive audience of friends, family, and fellow students.
We have limited both the morning and afternoon shows to 20 performers each and will not be able to go over this due to time constraints. If it's imperative that you perform in either the morning or afternoon, please register quickly to secure your place in the line-up.
Event Details:
- Date: Sunday, 23 August 2026
- Time: 2:30pm - 5:00pm (Afternoon Show)
- Venue: Night Owl Studio (20-22 Boag Place, Morley)
Registration Steps:
Please take a moment to provide us with the necessary details to secure your spot in the concert line-up. Just click the register button above to save your place.
NOTES:
- Contact Information: Please provide us with your full name, email address, and phone number. This information will be used to communicate important event updates and details.
- Teacher Consultation: Before proceeding, we recommend having a discussion with your instructor about your performance piece. Their guidance will ensure you choose a piece that resonates with your musical journey.
- Song Selection: Let us know the song you plan to perform during the concert. Your selection will help us organise the event smoothly and ensure a diverse and captivating program. If unsure of the piece right now type "unsure", however you must have selected your tune before the end of term 2.
- Amplification Requirements: We will need to know what instrument you'll be using on the day and if you or your teacher will be singing. If you're unsure, tick "unsure" and discuss with your teacher at the next lesson. It is recommended you use an instrument that can be plugged in. If you don't own one you're welcome to borrow one to practice in class and for the concert.
- Performance Readiness: As we have limited performance slots available, we're looking for participants who are prepared and confident to deliver polished performances.
What to Expect:
- Teacher Support: In the lead-up to the event, your teacher will work closely with you to refine your performance piece, add additional elements if desired (such as peddles or backing tracks), and ensure you're comfortable with the equipment. If you'd like to book additional school holiday lessons to get your piece "tight", please email the studio.
- Professional audio with dedicated sound engineer
- Rock concert lighting
- Massive LED display behind you on stage
- Separate "Green Room" for storage of equipment and to warm up in before you perform
- Back Stage Assistance from our teaching staff; tuning instruments, settling nerves, getting you ready to get on stage, plugging you in, getting you settled on stage, performing with you if desired, helping you off stage and back to the green room. You'll not be left on your own!
- Audience of 120 smiling and friendly faces to cheer you on!
- Bar for drinks
- Professional Video Recording: The concert will be professionally recorded, and all performers will receive a personal recording of their performance as a keepsake.
