San Gabriel River Day Trip on 7/25/26.
This day trip is for getting the club together for a day of fly fishing on the beautiful West Fork of the San Gabriel River.
The destination is the West Fork and surrounding areas of the San Gabriel River. The arrival time is 7:00 at the West Fork Parking Lot, but parking could be tight. Adventure Passes might be necessary as well to park.
Bring lunch and water. It could be warm, so dress accordingly. As for equipment, bring light weight 3-5wt rods. Waders and boots are recommended, but quick dry pants could be used. I would bring nymphs, dry flies and emergers. The cost is free!
