Trailhead: North Fork of the Boquet on Rt. 73, just north of Malfunction Junction

This hike travels along the North Fork on unmarked trails, crossing the stream several times (at wonderful locations for a dip) before beginning to climb steadily. The Slide hike follows the Great Slide, a great option for folks who are new to slide climbing as it has a relatively mellow grade and some great rest spots. Gain the summit and return by the Slide bypass herd path to the same route out.
