Join us for a unique and fully accessible Moonlit Meetup as we explore the history, legends, and mysteries of Gettysburg during America's 250th Anniversary celebration!
This meetup has been intentionally planned to be welcoming and accessible for individuals of all abilities. Our route, activities, and gathering locations have been selected with inclusion, comfort, and community participation in mind. Whether you're a history enthusiast, ghost story lover, or simply looking to connect with others, everyone is welcome.
Did you know one of Gettysburg's most famous ghost legends involves visitors suddenly smelling rose perfume with no obvious source nearby? For generations, guests, tour guides, and historians have reported catching the scent of old-fashioned rose water while walking the battlefields and historic sites. Some believe it may be connected to spirits of women who lived in Gettysburg during and after the Civil War, while others see it as a lingering reminder of the town's history of healing, mourning, and remembrance.

Meet at the "Summit Parking" area along Sykes Avenue at Little Round Top as we begin our journey through Gettysburg's history and legends.

Important: Participants must provide their own transportation between locations. The meetup will begin at Little Round Top, continue to Spangler's Spring, and conclude at Upper Crust Pizza. Participants will travel independently between each site. Family members, friends, and support staff are welcome to attend and assist with transportation as needed.
