Course Overview
Youth Pistol Level 2 is a 5-hour live-fire range training course designed to build upon the fundamentals learned in Youth Pistol Level 1. Students will develop safe gun-handling skills, improve marksmanship, increase efficiency with reloads, engage multiple targets, and perform shooting drills under time constraints in a structured and supervised environment.
This course emphasizes safe firearms handling at all times and is designed to help young shooters develop confidence, responsibility, and proficiency with their firearm.

Course of Fire
Students will complete a structured live-fire course designed to evaluate:
● Safe firearm handling
● Accuracy
● Reloading proficiency
● Multiple target engagement
● Time management
● Overall shooting competency
Equipment Required
● Serviceable pistol (.22 LR or 9mm)
● 3–4 magazines
● Tactical belt
● Holster
● Magazine pouches
● 500 rounds of ammunition
● Eye protection
● Ear protection
● Range bag or firearm case
● Long pants
● Shoes that can get dirty
● Ball cap (recommended)
● Snacks and drinks
Prerequisites
● Successful completion of Youth Pistol Level 1 or instructor approval.
Recommended Age
● Youth shooters capable of safely handling and operating a firearm under instructor supervision.
Student Performance Expectations
Students are expected to:
● Demonstrate safe firearms handling at all times.
● Follow all instructor and range commands immediately.
● Maintain muzzle discipline and trigger finger discipline.
● Display a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Training Location
Private Range located in Rathdrum, Idaho. Location will be provided via confirmation email after registration.
