Art Mondays – Term 3, 2026

Start your week off right with Art Mondays.

This 7-week programme invites you to pour creativity and joy into exciting mixed media art sessions. From paint to pastel, you'll create art pieces inspired by a range of artists – a wonderful opportunity to gain new skills, build confidence, and discover or refine your own unique style.

Whether you're new to art or looking to expand your practice, this is a welcoming space to explore, experiment, and grow.

All materials are provided, and you'll leave each session with something beautiful you've made yourself.

As a not-for-profit organisation, NGĀ ART (Te Whare Toi o Ngaaruawaahia) relies on grants, community funding, and donations to keep our classes affordable and accessible for everyone in our community. This programme is generously subsidised thanks to funding support from TEC (Tertiary Education Commission) to assist with literacy and numeracy needs of our participants. Available to persons 16yrs and over. You must attend 80% of the classes. At the same time we hope you will learn other useful and interesting skills and have a lot of fun learning with us
