Next Level Wheel - Throwing Larger!
Next Level Wheel: Throwing Larger
Ready to take the next step in your pottery journey? This class is designed for students who have completed one or two wheel-throwing classes and are ready to expand their skills by creating larger and more advanced forms.
In this 6-week course, students will focus on centering larger amounts of clay, throwing taller cylinders, connecting and stacking forms, and incorporating handbuilt elements to enhance their work. Students should be comfortable independently throwing a 5-inch cylinder before enrolling.
To help students refine their technique and track their progress, pieces will often be cut in half to examine wall thickness, structure, and form. This class emphasizes skill development, problem-solving, and technique refinement rather than production quantity.
Includes: 2 bags of clay (50 lbs total)
