GREAT KIDS EXPRESSIVE ARTS THERAPY TRAINING WAITLIST/SIGNUP
The GREAT Kids Group: Growing with Expressive Arts Together
School Based Group Model Summary
The "GREAT" kids group is an ever growing school based model currently accumulating preliminary evidence-based data in the Omaha and rural Nebraska settings for group efficacy in local elementary, middle, and high school settings. This Expressive Arts Training provides participants a multimodal experiential art based training over the period of two full days. This training will allow participants the tools they need to feel confident engaging in the expressive arts as a personal and clinical practice for youth. Additionally, participants will be given the skills needed to become a certified facilitator for The GREAT Kids group and become a part of sharing this fun, engaging, and transformative model with children in the school setting. (Note: This training does not complete requirements to be called an Expressive Arts Therapist nor a REAT- completion only allows a practitioner to use the GREAT Kids group model)
The training will take place in the Fall of 2026 or once we have a group of 8 or more signed up. The training will take place over three full days and registrants will need to be able to attend each session. Signing up does not indicate a commitment, rather an interest in the training. We will reach out to you once you have submitted your information.

“One of the most meaningful parts of leading the expressive arts group has been creating a safe space for students to share who they are through their art."-AF
