"Work with a rainbow of colours in stained glass to create your own stained glass mosaic window suitable for your home or garden. You will learn how to design an image to make either an abstract or image based piece. You will then “nip” your chosen stained glass into mosaic tesserae to be applied to your clear glass project with adhesive. Adhesives will be discussed and a grout demonstration will be given."

Cost of course includes: stained glass, silicone adhesive, grout kit, rubber gloves, the use of instructor tools and supplies.

Students please bring:

• a surface to apply your mosaic. This can consist of a vintage window or upcycled picture frame no larger than 12” x 24” (there will be an additional cost for larger projects payable to the instructor. A variety of prepared frames will be available at a cost of $20 payable to the instructor.) *Please prepare your frame by siliconing the back (edge of glass to frame)*
