QA Series: Building the Foundation of your Course
Just like building a house, every course needs a solid foundation. Clear organization is essential in online courses; it helps students efficiently navigate through your course and minimizes “housekeeping” questions from your class.
Workshop learning objectives:
- Organize your course according to best practices;
- Apply the course template;
- Identify common pitfalls;
- Practice improving organization of your own course
Application of the knowledge gained in this workshop will help you ensure that your courses meet Standards 1 and 3 for our UA Little Rock Online Quality Assurance Standards.
For our hands-on activity, please bring a course that may need some organization or a course that is new to Ultra.
This workshop is the first of the five Quality Assurance workshops. These can be completed in any order and those who attend all five will receive a certificate. Attendees to the live session who complete all activities will receive 10 ATLE points.
We will meet in Blackboard via Class for Zoom.
