Kids Hand Building Class! Butterfly Puddler
We're partnering with Pollinator Project Rogue Valley to offer this kid-friendly workshop: students will learn about the native plants and pollinators of Southern Oregon, then create their own ceramic Butterfly Puddler to help beneficial insects this summer. Even bugs need water!
An instructor will walk students through how to hand build the butterfly puddlers. Then students will add details or texture and color, if desired! At the end of class, students will take a short supervised walk one block away for a 30 min educational session on pollinators and plants . A portion of the class cost will go toward supporting Pollinator Project Rogue Valley's youth education programs.

Suggested ages: 9–14

Finished clay projects take up to 4–5 weeks. NW Ceramics will email when ceramics are done and ready for pickup. Due to limited storage space, the studio will hold projects for 8 weeks. After 8 weeks (from the date we notify students for pickup) we will have to discard students pieces. Classes include instruction, materials, and kiln firings.
