Sensory-Friendly Family Art Sessions – Thursday

Sensory-Friendly Family Art Sessions
Thursday 10am – 12pm

We are pleased to offer a dedicated Thursday session for families who would like to bring their autistic children to enjoy a calm, creative morning in a sensory-friendly environment.

This session is designed to be quieter, slower, and more relaxed, with reduced numbers to ensure a comfortable experience for everyone. Our studio space will have soft lighting, lower noise levels, and a chill, supportive vibe. You are welcome to come, create at your own pace, and leave whenever you are ready.

Register the whole family for a creative morning filled with colour, fun, and chill vibes! Our studio is the perfect place to unplug, get messy, and make memories together in a safe and understanding space.

Each session runs for two hours, with up to 6 different art activities on offer for you to choose from (each person can do a max of two each). No experience is needed, just bring your imagination! Our activities are designed for all ages (perfect for ages 5 and up), and we supply all the materials. You are welcome to leave as soon as you've finished creating, so you can work at your own pace.

Activities on offer may include:

  • Canvas Painting – create your own mini-masterpiece to take home
  • Pottery Painting – decorate a pre-made ceramic vase
  • Suncatchers – make a fun, colourful suncatcher
  • Aroha Cards – create a personal card for someone special
  • Watercolour Painting – paint a beautiful watercolour artwork
  • Decoupage – decorate a heart or star shape
  • Wand Decorating – craft and decorate your very own wand

Please note: Paying adults must attend the entire session with their child/children.

Bookings are essential - spaces are limited, so secure your spot today!
