6-Week Aphasia Conversation Club
Communication is about more than words; it's about connecting with others. Our Aphasia Conversation Club is a welcoming space for adults with aphasia to connect with others, participate in conversation and group activities, and enjoy social interaction in an inclusive, supportive environment.
The club is facilitated by a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience working with people with aphasia. The SLP helps create an aphasia-friendly environment where everyone can participate comfortably and conversations are supported so that all members have the opportunity to engage.
Registration includes:
- Six weekly 1-hour Conversation Club meetings
- Facilitated conversations and interactive group activities
- Opportunities to connect with others living with aphasia
- Access to a private online resource library with aphasia-friendly websites, helpful handouts, conversation topics, and resources for participants and their families to use between sessions
