CSz Milwaukee is excited to announce our Summer Workshop Intensive series!

Five Instructors, four Saturdays, four topics of focus!

This series bundles four unique workshops cultivated by five different seasoned ComedySportz Pro Players, all with extensive experience and knowledge of everything improv! Each week, for four weeks, a new instructor will offer up a workshop focusing on a specific topic, skill or ability to help sharpen and strengthen your improv muscles.

Side effects may include, but are not limited to: laughter, fun, more confidence, learning, light indigestion, and uncontrollable smiling.

Taking place at ComedySportz Milwaukee from 1pm to 4pm. Completion of at least CSz 103 is highly recommended.

Our first week, July 25th, has Bradley Colmerauer and Amy Westrup going “Back to Basics” with an intensive set around the important skills we learn early on but can lose sight of on our journey. This will be a nice refresher that focuses on the building blocks that make scene work buttery smooth.

The second week, August 1st, join Alecia Altstaetter as she helps you focus on building relationships and using emotion to forward your scene work. See how establishing emotional connections and full relationships create a wealth of avenues to explore while improvising.

Then on week three, August 8th, join Alan Guszkowski for an afternoon of mime and gibberish! Alan is a master of mime communication at CSz Milwaukee, and is fluent in gibberish. Alan will help you by giving tips and techniques that are important when building your “where”, showing not telling, and also when it’s crucial to communicate the existence of a Pickleball game in Mordor between Sabrina Carpenter and a chicken nugget.

The last week, August 15th, Will Washkuhn will join you for an exploration of Guessing Games! You’ll play a variety of guessing games that utilize mime, gibberish, and clever wordplay, all while the clock counts down! Spoiler: Fun is the secret word!
