Congrats, you've done the 2026 Adult Sailing Course, now let's start building up your time on the water!

SYC wants to help build your confidence, get you learning more skills and ultimately join our club racing fleets. The program will be run over 5 Tuesday nights (18:30 to 20:30) and will be facilitated by Irish Sailing Instructors who will help you rig, sail faster and introduce you to the different aspects of crewing and helming on our versatile single handed dinghy, the RS Pico.

On the night, our instructors will be in ribs, coaching and instructing you to sail better and faster. Following the course you will be encouraged to join the fleet for the rest of the summer and continue your sailing journey as a full member of the club.

As you have already paid your membership fees for 2026 the cost for the 5 nights will be €100.

PS: As with all sailing courses, there may be days when weather conditions will prevent some or all participants going on the water. This cannot be avoided and shore-based learning will be organised in lieu.
