Art Explorations — Seattle Art Classes for Curious Beginners & Returning Students

Some weeks call for a paintbrush. Some call for a brayer and ink. Art Explorations is a weekly art class where every week is its own adventure! No experience needed - just curiosity and a willingness to play.

What we'll make:

• Week 1 — Gelli-Plate Printing: Layer, texture prints and images with instant results
• Week 2 — Easy-Cut Printmaking: Design and carve your own reusable stamps
• Week 3 — Polymer Clay Creations: Leave with a wearable or decorative piece you made yourself
• Week 4 — Alcohol Ink & Paper Marbling: Fluid, unpredictable, endlessly playful
• Week 5 — Needle Felting: Sculpt with wool, one poke at a time. It's downright therapeutic!

Classes are kept small - from 4 to 10 students.

Location: 12513 Lake City Way NE, Seattle (*Free parking is available in lot west of café. Please use the westside entrance, as café is closed to the public during class hours.)

About Your Instructor:
Janet is a Seattle-based artist and teacher with 20+ years of teaching experience across many mediums. Her watercolors have been selected for both local and international exhibitions. She loves to inspire a love of art in others - helping you embrace the creative process and giving you the tools to bring your vision to life. Ages 16+ welcome.

Cancellation policy:
We know life can be unpredictable and we want to be as flexible as we reasonably can. Cancellations made more than 2 weeks before the first class will be fully refunded, no questions asked. Within 2 weeks of the first class no refund is given, but you're welcome to transfer your spot to a friend. Credit towards a future class will be offered if we are able to fill your spot prior to class beginning. After the class has begun, we're unable to offer refunds or credits for missed sessions. If we cancel a class for any reason, including low enrollment, you'll receive a full refund regardless of when the cancellation occurs. For extenuating circumstances, please reach out - we'll do our best to work something out.
