A Cozy Creative Escape – Watercolour Made Simple

About the Class

Have a relaxing and creative Friday evening at Kwassie Art Studio and learn the fundamentals of watercolour painting. In this session you will work with watercolours, known for their beautiful translucent quality, and experiment with drip watercolour — an extremely fun and versatile technique that allows for a lot of self-expression and teaches you to let go.

You will then learn how to paint simple but intriguing botanicals or natural forms. Through this exercise you will discover the wet-on-dry and wet-on-wet techniques, how to make gradients and how to mix colour. These exercises will boost your painting confidence — even for the most self-proclaimed non-artists! 🥂

This workshop is perfect for absolute beginners as well as those with some prior watercolour experience. A great idea for a friend's night out, a date, a family evening or a solo treat.

What Is Included?
All materials — premium watercolours, paper, brushes and Kwassie's own learning templates. Unlimited drinks (wine and non-alcoholic options) and light snacks included. Aprons available on site.

What Will You Take Home?
At least 2 completed works on paper to take home and show off.

Once you have completed the Watercolour Intro Workshop, you are welcome to join our Open Painting Sessions every Thursday from 17:30–19:30 to keep developing your skills.
