About the Course

Join our 3-week watercolour course and get hands-on with the essential skills and techniques of watercolour painting. Each session builds on the last, guiding you through the properties of the medium as you work on botanicals, landscapes and more.

You will learn to understand how water and pigment behave together and how to work with that rather than against it. Watercolour rewards observation and patience, and this course gives you the structure to develop both. By the end of the four weeks, you will have a solid foundation to continue painting independently with confidence.

You will also gain practical knowledge of materials — which paper, paints and brushes to use — and leave with expert tips on assembling your own kit.

Who Is This Course For?

This course is for anyone who wants to try watercolour for the first time or build more confidence with the medium. It is well suited to those who enjoy working from observation and want a gentle, structured introduction to painting. Small group sizes mean you get individual attention throughout.

Levels: Beginner & anyone who wants to restart their practice

Age 14+. No prior experience needed.

All materials included — premium watercolours, paper, brushes and studio-original learning material. Aprons available on site. Coffee and tea included.

What Will You Take Home?

At the end of the course you will have a number of completed watercolour works to take home. You will have foundational knowledge for independent painting and are welcome to join our Create & Chill sessions on Thursdays to continue developing your skills.
