About the course

Join our 4-week drawing course and dive into the fundamentals of drawing, with a focus on mastering graphite pencils. Each session builds on the last, guiding you through essential principles of observation, mark-making and composition as you work from real objects - shells, origami birds, geometric shapes and finishing with still life.

You will learn to slow down, look more carefully and translate what you see onto paper with increasing confidence and precision. Drawing is first and foremost a way of seeing, and this course trains exactly that. By the end of the four weeks, you will have a working understanding of the core language of drawing and the tools to continue practicing independently.

Who is This Course For?

This course is for anyone who wants to learn to draw from scratch, return to drawing after a break, or continue building on skills from a previous session. Returning students are welcome — we introduce new projects each round and can also extend the course into charcoal drawing for those ready to explore a new medium. If you want a stronger observational foundation, are building a portfolio or simply want a structured, focused creative practice, this course gives you exactly that.

What will you take home?

At the end of the course, you will have a number of completed drawing works to take home with you. You will have foundational knowledge for independent drawing, and you are then welcome to join our Create & Chill sessions on Thursdays to continue developing and practicing your skills!
