Three Styles of Fly Fishing
If you have been interested in fly fishing for a while now, you may have heard of several different types other than your 5wt, 9' fly rod. Have too many rods? Do you need 5, 15, 25 or more rods? Is there a rod that will does it all?
Well, are questions that most people in fly fishing think about when you talk fly fishing, but "Do you really need more than one style of rod?" Not really. So we will try to guide you down the rabbit hole of alternatives to a 'fly rod' and show you the difference and similarities of Tenkara, Euro- and Indicator fishing and what each can and can not do, and when it might be best to use one or all of these styles.
This will be an informative type class, however if time and conditions allow, there may be a demonstration of each style. Come and find out what you need or don't need to fish for trout and other species. If you don't, you may be missing out on some great fishing opportunities.
