The Driving Cross-Functional Collaboration training course will address relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. It will focus on the following outcomes:

• Understanding the value of the being a trusted LCHS partner
• Analysing stakeholders and understanding their communication preferences
• Listening out for the wants and needs of stakeholders
• Influencing stakeholders in a one-on-one situation
• Delivering messages that influence through understanding the stakeholders’ points of view.
• Presenting insights through storytelling
• Delivering undesirable messages in a kind, respectful way
• Handling tricky situations
• Growing partnerships across the broader LCHS team and strengthening the LCHS brand with external stakeholders.

Before registering for any training session, employees are required to discuss the training with their manager and obtain their feedback and support to attend. It is the employee's responsibility to have this conversation before registering and not to register for training until it has taken place. Employees are also responsible for ensuring their manager is aware of the training they are enrolling in, including the session date, time and any time away from their usual duties. This helps managers plan service delivery and supports employees to attend training at an appropriate time.
