Adirondack Trail Improvement Society

Drive or Bus: Drive - 45 min

Trailhead: Adirondack Loj (drop off), return to Hut

This is perhaps the most challenging trip offered by ATIS. Starting from the Loj, ascend Marcy and then continue along the Great Range, stopping off on Haystack and then traveling over Basin, Saddleback, Gothics, Armstrong, Upper Wolf Jaw and Lower Wolf Jaw, as well as Hedgehog Mountain (and Rooster Comb, if the group is feeling bold). Finish the trip by returning on foot to the Hut. Note - this trip is appropriate only for highly experienced hikers!
