Rifle Home Defense

Your home is worth protecting, and having a rifle is only part of the equation. Rifle Home Defense is designed to teach responsible firearm owners how to effectively set up and employ a defensive rifle in and around the home.

Through classroom discussion and live-fire training, students will learn how to configure their rifle for home defense, understand ammunition selection, use cover effectively, and apply sound decision-making under stress. The course also covers low-light considerations, family emergency planning, and the legal and practical responsibilities that come with defending yourself and your loved ones.

• Ammunition selection
• Use of cover and defensive positioning
• Low-light considerations
• Home defense planning
• Defensive shooting fundamentals
• Legal considerations following a defensive incident

By the end of the course, students will have a better understanding of how to safely and effectively employ a rifle for home defense while building the confidence to protect what matters most. You may attend this course as an observer if you do not want to conduct live fire. 

Gear Required for students shooting:
-Rifle
-2 Magazine minimum
-300 rounds minimum
-Ear and eye protection (required for all individuals on the range)
