AN INTRODUCTION TO PLASTER MOULD MAKING

Discover the fundamentals of plaster mould making in this practical, hands-on workshop. Working from found objects or simple clay models, you'll be guided through each stage of the process—from understanding and avoiding undercuts to preparing your mould, mixing plaster, and achieving a successful pour.
By the end of the session, you'll have a clear understanding of the core principles of plaster mould making and will have created at least one sprig mould and one small one-piece press mould.
Whether you're developing a personal project or simply keen to build new skills, the workshop offers plenty of opportunity to explore techniques that support your own creative practice.
Ideal for anyone with some experience working with clay who wants to expand their ceramic knowledge and confidence.
All materials and aprons are included—just bring your ideas and curiosity.
